Boys' imaginations can take them from a backyard to a battlefield where they will pretend to be heroes or villains as they rescue and conquer - and all before lunch. And yet many parents worry, wondering if their sons are simply normal, active boys, or turning into potentially violent men. Chuck and Deborah Hart of Littleton, Colorado, have four active boys. From breakfast to bedtime, these parents are on their feet, running after lively children. In this episode, we'll look at this family's well-studied approach to raising boys and talk to educators and experts who believe that society needs to have a new heart for boys.

I found this episode to be very interesting as I am a mother of 3 very active boys. It was comforting to know that there is another family going through the same things that my husband and I are going through. I always feel overwhelmed and exhausted and I am constantly getting remarks from people about how much of a handful my boys are. It is a comfort to know that their energy level is normal.
I watched this on TBN this morning. I found it to be very enlightening and so true. I have struggled to find some way to motivate my son. He is 16 and I know he is in his full potential right now in school. Thank you so much. You have me wanting to get my school to this school.
I have never seen your program before this and believe that it was a devine appointment. I am the mother of one child, a girl. That girl is now a young woman (23) with a son. After escaping a horribly abusive relationship, when my grandson was only 4 months old, she moved back home. He is so smart and active, as was she, only different. Now I know why. Thank you for the education!
Great program! I have always known boys are boys and as I am a father now I have become frustrated with the educational system and the mold they want our boys to fit into.

How can I get a copy of Oh Boy or when will it be shown in the Bayonne, NJ area again?
I saw the show Oh Boy this pass Sunday evening, Aug 1, 2010 in chicago and it really explained my son who is now 9yrs old. He was referred to the high school Mt. Carmel in chicago and I will send him there when he gets to go to high school. I need a copy of the tape from this show. How can I get a copy. Mrs. Edwards
I give OH, Boy five stars. I have a 12 year son going on 13. He is very smart, intelligent, and athletic and make pretty good grades. Very outgoing, and social which seems to get him label by teachers in the public school system. This segment has open mine eyes. I would love to get a copy of this on DVD to show to my son and other young men since I coach a boys soccer. Keep up the good work. L.A. Brown of Virginia.

This is a very correct observation --- I know my son is bright -- but the school is already pointing us in the direction of ADHD / ADD --- I firmly believe in one-gender schools especially for boys.
I saw this recently (Dec.3, 2010, on TBN). I love it and will share it with my son and daughter in law, parents of two sons, 2 and 6 months.
